Hi guys!

Hey guys! How have you been?

I know I said I was going to post a chapter of 'Happy pancake' up every week, but I couldn't this week, because of just a load of things. School, outings and just a whole bunch of stuff. So I apologise. But I will however, try to get the next chapter up soon.
So now, I am currently listening to U-Kiss's 0300, and it is amazing! I love the song. I really like the way the piano and the drums and clapping works with the voices- and the harmonizing gives it that angelic feel.

There's the video for those of you who want to listen to it.

Anyway
So I'm waiting for my best day of the week this week. But somehow- there doesn't seem to be one this week. Yeah- I do that- it's sad? Well, what can I say **smug smile**
Ok, I'm just rambling now.
Hope you guys are having a great day!
And what's happened to the weather recently?!
It was sunny yesterday thoughs

Chapter 3 update

Hey guys!
I just decided to add two more parts to chapter 3 of Happy pancake. I just thought it would suit it better! Hope you guys don't mind. I'm hoping that chapter 4 will be posted by next week. I am planning to post a chapter every saturday.

Raina

Happy pancake (The third pancake 10/10)

I waited for her to carry on, hoping she would say something that made sense this time.
“I…I just think I’ve kind of wasted my time on him- you know?” she sighed, as she looked up at the blue sky, as if hoping for a miracle.
“Who was he anyway- this guy who dumped you?”
“mmm,”
“Come on- don’t tell me you’re going to keep this from me,”
She turned away, looking at the ground.
“Hey! Hey! Tell me!”
She carried on looking at the ground, stubbornly refusing to say anything. I stood up and walked over to her.
“Hannie Yoon!” I shouted, causing her to jump. I bent down and looked at her with a serious expression. She looked frightened- even though she was the one who know all the ‘in-defence moves’, Instead, I began tickling her- and she seemed surprised, but laughed down to the ground.
“Raina! Raina- stop it!” she laughed, trying to push me off.
“Not unless you tell me who it is,” I said back.
“Hey, Hey!” she yelled.

Moments later, she gave up and agreed to tell me who it was.
“He’s tall…”
“Yeah…”
“Handsome…”
“Yeah…”
“Dark…”
“Oh, cut the crap and get on with telling me!”
“Ok- but you must promise not to kill me,”
“Ok…”
Suddenly, she darted off, grabbing her bag with her as she leaped across the logs near the pond.
“Hey- Hannie Yoon! Are you not going to tell me?”

Mother- why did I bother wasting my time with her- like she was going to tell me.

***

“I’m back,” I yelled, dumping my bags on the chair next to our shop’s window.
“Oh, you’re back? Raina, sit down,” Mum replied, whilst cleaning the glass cups.

“Erm…ok, did something happen?”

“Yeah, you could say that…” she sighed, putting down the dry cups face down.
“What? What is it? Have our recipes got stolen again?!”
“-No,”
“Did dad gamble all the money away?”
“-No,”
“Are we being chased by loan sharks?”
“-No! Raina, just listen. I haven’t been able to say one word to you yet, and you’re already creating all these stories,”
“Ok, I’m sorry, I’ll listen now,”
“Your uncle’s ill now- and you know that his job was really important in our pancake shop right?”
“Yes,”
“Well, nothing seems to be going right now- there are hardly anymore workers left. We were hanging by a thread of string, even with him here. But now- that string’s broken and we’re falling down a deep dark hole,”
“Wow- that’s dramatic,”
“That’s the point- but let me finish,”

“Ok,”
“Getting back on my point, I don’t think our store can carry on any longer if we don’t find any new employees to work here. We’ve already had a few complaints this week about the service- and we might have to close the store-”

“You can’t do that!” I cried.
The pancake shop my parents owned meant everything to them, and now, I was being told it was all going to go, just by a few words. It seemed unreal, stupid, unfair. I felt angry- no one had the right to take away what we loved doing the most.
“No, no I won’t let you- I’ll find you some workers! I will!”
“Raina, calm down. You’ll still be able to go college and perhaps find another job. But I just don’t think it’ll work. Besides, how likely is it that you’ll find a worker within two weeks from now?”
“It’s possible- I’ll make it possible! But mum, don’t you try discussing your plans with dad until two weeks from now- deal?”
“Fine, deal. But I’m just going to warn you that it’ll only end up with disappointment. We’re going to need 5 more workers- experienced ones.”

“That’s fine with me- you just wait and watch. Sunny Pancake is going to be new and improved.”

Happy pancake (The third pancake 9/10)

As I got off the bus, I sprinted across the road, hoping that the old man wouldn’t go anywhere too faraway with my purse. Just then, it began to rain. I took an umbrella from my bag, and opened it. The light raindrops which fell, awakened my senses- it had been quite a while in which it rained. I stretched my arms out towards the air, and a few drops landed on my hand. They were cold, but refreshing. The cold wind bit my flesh. I placed my hands into my pockets to regain back the warmth.
Suddenly, I felt a small vibration on the surface of the skin as I stood at the bus stop, waiting for a bus to take me all the way back. Realising it was my phone; I began to search my pockets. Finally, before the call ended, I quickly answered. I hoped that it was a call from the police station.
“Hello?”
“Raina? Raina…can you please come over?” I heard Hannie’s teary voice ask.
“Why? What happened?” I asked, hoping that nothing bad had happened, “I’m in a hurry right now…”

“Please- it’s kind of important…to me,”
“What is it? Can’t we discuss it on the phone?”
“No- look, it’s fine if you can’t-”

“No, no I will, where are you?”

***

“So…you’re saying that your boyfriend- who I didn’t even know existed-”

“-Raina, look, I’m sorry ok? I just thought you would be mad at me,”
“For what?”
“Cause I promised that we would stay single together this year- didn’t I?”
“Yes, you did- but it’s ok, one of us would have to start a relationship now, right?”
“Really? So you’re not mad at me?”
“For getting a boyfriend behind my back- no…but for being crackers- yes,” I stiffly replied.
“Raina, come on, don’t be mad!” she said, as she took my arm and hugged it. I felt my arm become warm…and wet.
“Hey! Your boggers are getting all other my sleeves!”
“Sorry!” she said, as she immediately released my arm.

“Ah- nothing’s going well today,” I sigh, “I lost my purse,”
“What?! She gasped with hands in front of her mouth, “Have you gone to the police station?”

“No- but let’s solve your problem first since I’m already here,” I began to push off the ground, swinging lightly on the swing. I looked over at Hannie who slumped on her seat, looking down at the stones. It was lucky that we had chosen to come to the park at this hour. Normally, if we had come too early in the morning- the little kids would’ve greedily taken the swings, and refused to let us have a turn.
“It’s been a while that I’ve sat on these swings,”
“Yeah- it’s nice. I feel like a kid again,” she laughs, rocking back and forth, with her feet still stable on the ground.
“You ok?” I asked, wondering what she was thinking about.
“Yeah…kinda…no, not really,”

Overload posting

Hey guys!
Ok, so I know I said I would post soon- and I just have. All chapter 3 of happy pancake is out ''The third pancake''
Yeah- I've decided to name them that instead of like ''Chapter 3''- it makes it more interesting. I've also just posted it up on protagonize- but the problem is, that the layout has gone all funny on there- so it'd be best if you read it here.
So I hope I didn't overload post... It's just because my chapters are so long- so I didn't want to post it all on one post- otherwise people get bored reading them. Quick and simple is always the best. Less is more =D
Ok, so I'm kinda getting tired from all this typing.
I'll update soon!

Raina

Happy pancake (the third pancake 8/10)

Wow that was close!
“Excuse me miss- you haven’t paid your bus fare yet,” the driver called, banging on the screen to get my attention.
“Yes, sorry,” I said, as I began to fumble through my bag. I glanced down in my bag, but my purse was not there. I began to search for it, taking items out of my bag. Soon, my phone and my keys were in my hands, as I desperately tried looking for the item. I looked up at the driver with a doubtful expression and he looked back, impatiently.
“Sorry- give me a minute,” I said, as I looked in other parts of my bag. Panic spread through me as I realised that I didn’t have it.
Where could it be?!
“That old man running just now is quite weird though- he was holding a pink purse- I mean, what kind of guys would have those purses nowadays?” the same woman remarked, laughing to her supposed husband. He laughed back, nodding in agreement.
pink purse…
“I’m sorry- did you say, pink purse?” I turn to ask them, hoping I had misheard.
“Yes,”
Mother! He had my purse…that’s why he was trying to get my attention!
“Could you please stop the bus?” I immediately said , my heart racing. My purse had everything I needed to get me anywhere- my college entrance card, my library card, my credit cards- as well as my bus fee money.
“Sorry- I can’t stop in the middle of bus journeys,”
“But where will the bus stop at next?”
“Bandhill lane,”
“Isn’t that the last stop?”
“Yes- diversions are taking place, so I’m afraid I have to take a different route,”
“Please, please sir- I really need to get off,”
“I’m sorry- I can’t risk my job,”
I looked around, trying to look for a way off the bus. Suddenly, the bus stopped, causing me to lose my balance a little. However, I managed to remain standing up by grabbing onto a surface. The bus was motionless, waiting for the red lights to change.
Come on- I’m never going to find that old man at this rate!
Suddenly, I saw my escape. Right there, the red button that said underneath ‘for emergencies only’
That was perfect- an emergency. It was my chance- if I didn’t get off now- how long would I have to wait before the next set of traffic lights?
I walked up to the exit door, stretching up to press the button. The doors flung open as everyone’s attention became fixed on me. I quickly got off.
“Sorry driver!” I yelled before the traffic lights became green and I headed for the next bus stop.

Happy pancake (the third pancake 7/10)

“Oh my child, you’ve done absolutely brilliantly today- come here,” she said, as she stretched her arms out, approaching me to hug.
“Erm- have to go,” I quickly spoke, dodging out of mum’s arms.
“Where?” I heard Dad ask.
“I’ll be back by 8:00!” I yelled, whilst flinging off the apron and putting on a warm coat. I quickly closed the door behind me.

I sighed after taking the first step out of the house. Fresh air was always the thing you had to have first after a long day. I looked at the time, ‘4:30’ it read. A long time to go before returning home.
I looked down at my wretched shoes, my torn socks and my old skirt I was wearing- not to mention my long hair that needed cutting. Pulling out a small notepad from my Jacket Pocket, I began to make a list of all the things I needed to buy. Once I finally finished- I noticed how long the note was.
‘Where am I going to find all this money?’
I sighed angrily, kicking a bin with my right foot carelessly, though I should’ve saw it coming when it crashed to the floor, and the contents spilled everywhere.
“Ah,” I cursed under my breath.
‘Why did it have to fall over?’
I kneeled down, examining the rubbish scattered across the floor. Banana peels and unfinished lunches oozed on the ground, making me feel nauseous.
‘This won’t do’
I looked up, examining to see if anyone had seen me knock it over. No one- not a single person was in sight…well, apart from a small black dog chained next to a tree. I stood up cautiously, slowly stepping away from the bin. Finally, I was far away enough from it to turn away and walk off. Placing my hands in my pockets, I began to whistle casually as I made my way away. Just then, I heard someone shout.
“Hey, Excuse me?”
I turned around. An old man looked at me, beckoning me to come over.
“Crap,” I muttered and began to run as I saw the bus waiting at the bus stop. He must’ve seen me kick the bin…
“Hey-lady! You left-”
I quickly got on the bus, without listening to the last of his words. I breathed with relief as the doors began to close- if anyone had caught me- I would probably have to pay a fine- and with mum and dad’s money problems, that would’ve been barely possible. The bus started to load and the same old man came up to the bus and banged heavily on the door.
“Hey- I need to talk to that lady!” he said, breathing heavily as he looked at me.
Luckily, the driver did not hear and began to drive away. I looked up at the mirror to see if he had gone- but he began chasing after the bus.
Ah, what does he want? I really would’ve paid the fine- but I don’t have enough money.
I slouched against a pole handle on the bus, and felt someone tap my arm. I turned around and saw a young couple, who were sitting down, smiling at me.
“Sorry, but do you know him?” the young woman asked me, looking at that old man running after the bus.
“Um…n-no- I don’t,”
“Oh- seems like he’s after you,”
“Oh…maybe he got the wrong person…” I lied, hopefully not seeming obvious. I looked up at the mirror, noticing that he had stopped running. Instead, he looked disappointedly at me, whilst breathing heavily trying to get his breath back. And that was the last I saw of him.

Happy pancake (The third pancake 6/10)

“Well…here goes nothing,”
I sighed, scooping the mixture and hearing the occasional sizzle it makes on the pan. There are no signs of bubbles- hinting that there’s definitely something wrong with them. I take spatula and turn it over. I notice the golden colour of the pancake as it starts to simmer. Mum comes in to check on me, as she always does.
“Darling, orders need to start piling up now…” She says, before looking at me suspiciously. She walks over, seeing no reaction from me behind. I stare at it, mouth hanging wide open.
“How did that happen?” She asks, looking at the pancake, too with eyes shocked to the core. We stand there for a few seconds, looking at the creation.
“I mixed some flour with egg whites, milk and vanilla essence like I normally do…” I repeated, “But somehow, I left it in the mixer for too long, and tried to fry it. And now- it looks…
Mum spaded the pancake with the spatula and she looks at it side to side before picking a piece of it from the side, stuffing it into her mouth. She chews, concentrating on the taste.
“Mmm!” She squelches with delight, “This is delicious!”
“Really?”
I pick a piece to try too. The sweetness unravels in my mouth and the texture, soft and bread like. I pick another piece to see if it’s real. I plop it into my mouth again.
“Wow- this is really good!”
“I did well this time didn’t I mum? Didn’t I?!”
“Yes!”
Dad comes in, having heard all the screaming.
“Please don’t tell me there are rats in the kitchen…”
“No- look, come over here!” Mum gestures.
“What?”
“Try this,” she offers. He takes a bite.
“What do you think?”
“Did you make this…or is this from the shops?”
“Raina made it,”
“From what?”
“That messed up mixture,”
“Incredible,”
“Raina- try frying the rest of that and serving it up to the customers as a special on the house, and see what they think,”
“Okay,”

***

“Wow- this is quite incredible,” Dad says, as he counts all the orders hanging on the line, “341…342 sell outs today,” he breathed.
This dream of getting into the KIC industry began when Dad took me to his workplace when I was little- around 8 years of age. He used to work there as a sous chef, running errands for other people sometimes- but that did not stop him from learning a few recipes and methods to cook foods.

Happy pancake (the third pancake 5/10)

“Guess what?”
“What?”
“Our shop has been advertised nationally since the national baking competition!” She screamed, jumping up and down like a little child.
“Really?” I said, unconvinced.
“Do you think I would lie?! Your dad’s been smiling all morning. Now- we won’t have to worry about paying your tuition fees!”
“That’s great mum. But wait…”
“What?”
“If uncle’s ill…who’s going to do his part of the cooking?
“Oh!” She screamed, realising.
“What should we do?” I asked desperately. I really didn’t have any time to help out in the kitchen anymore during weekdays, especially after college.
“Wait- can’t you cook the pancakes?”
“-But who’s going to be behind the cashier?”
“That’s true,”
“Jill! There’s a customer!” Dad called.
“Ok- I’m coming!” She called, “Raina, you do some today, and we’ll discuss what happens if your uncle doesn’t get better after the weekend,”
I decided to help with the cooking. I went to the cupboard and grabbed my apron. I put it on and tied it, so it fitted perfectly.
“Right,” I put my hands together, “Where should we start?”
I took the opened packet of flour with my right hand and sprinkled some onto the sieve gently, hoping that none of it would go out of the boundary. Without realising, I scratched my nose, leaving marks of fear all over my face and see it when I look at the window.
I placed the flour into the mixing bowl with the fluffy egg whites and I watched them mix together.
“If only I could make it into K.I.C,” I stare into space thinking about all the wonderful things I would do if I did get the job of my dreams. I imagined being a hard worker, earning my respect and getting rewarded.
It seems like a dream,’
I sighed…before realising it was a dream. I suddenly snapped back into the real noise, world after hearing a funny noise.
“Shit!” I shouted and leaped to the button. I carefully removed the lid. There, lying in front of me, was a liquidised mixture. Almost as hollow as water.
“Oh no,”
Dad comes through the kitchen doors. He looks at me pityingly.
“Raina, don’t tell me-“
“-Yeah,”
“Were you not-”
“-Yeah,”
“Raina! How are you supposed to look after the shop if you carry on like this?! You should take care of your cooking. The ingredients cost and the customers are hungry!”
“Sorry, Dad,” I mumbled, with a grumpy face.
“Come on- try heating that on the pan and see what happens,”
“Yes,”
“And stop daydreaming!” he called, before the door shuts. I look at the helpless mixture before me, resting on my two hands.

Happy pancake (the third pancake 4/10)

“Thank you,” I whisper over to Yen whilst heading back to our seats. She nods in my direction, to show that she’s very welcome.
“Raina, just because you’ve finished with your presentation, doesn’t mean that you can talk over others,” Miss Tock manages to argue again, as I squeeze into my seat.
“I’m sorry,” I say, apologising for the thousandth time.
“You’re really good..,” I say, “You’re a new student here?”
“Yeah, transferred here just a few weeks ago,” she says, though it’s quite obvious, seeing as she seems new to all the things going on at school.
“Really? Whereabouts? Up north? Down south?”
America,”
America?! Seriously?!
America? Why didn’t you stay there? It’s much better than this place!”
“Spending money, and partying all night? I think it’s much nicer here,”
“It’s quiet here,”
“Yeah, so much quieter,” she says, smiling again, looking down this time whilst fiddling with her hands.
“So, are you here alone?”
“Nah, I came here because of my brother. My parents made him move here, so I came along. Might as well make the most of studying design anyway.”
“Your brother comes to this school as well?”
“Yeah- he’s doing bakery studies,”
“Really? I do too- I don’t think I’ve met him yet,”
“Oh don’t worry; you won’t miss my brother,”
I laughed. He was probably just as nice as she was.

***

“Raina! Raina,” a voice shouted. I rolled around in bed, trying to get back to sleep.
“Raina? Come on, get up!”
This time, it was accompanied by the knock of a door. I could tell it was mum’s voice- seemed desperate.
“What?”
“You’ve overslept! It’s 2pm now- customers are flooding in. Your uncle rang up ill, so you’re going to have to help a bit,”
“What? Can’t I just sleep a little bit longer?”
“No!”
“Ah- fine,” I said, stretching and slowly getting out of bed. I reached for the headband I left on the table and put it on my head. I ran downstairs and flung open the door. Unexpectedly, the number of people grew on me.
“Wow…mum?”
“Yes?”
“Why are there so many people today?”
“Oh- come in the kitchen with me, I’ll explain.”

She grabbed my elbow and pulled me to the kitchen.

Happy pancake (The third pancake 3/10)

I notice that everyone around us talking about a PowerPoint, and realise that I must’ve been daydreaming.
“Right- let’s start,”
She gets up from her seat, and moves it closer towards mine. I can smell her leather jacket, and the overwhelming use of perfume. I look at her again- she seemed like one of those business women who could go around, and have lunch at good restaurants like ‘EAT.’
“So if you do the presentation, and I do the research,” she says, flicking through a book which she takes from the shelf she’s sitting in front of.
“Erm…Yenny…can I call you that?”
“Most people call me Yen, but yeah?”
“Oh sorry. Ok, Yen. This is really embarrassing…but I don’t know what we’re doing…”
“We’re making a presentation on the design of a product,” she says, still flicking through her book.
“Oh,” Is all I say, looking at everyone else. I try to understand what they’re doing- but none of the information occurs to me.
“What bit don’t you get?” She immediately says after, like a dog to a stick.
“Just…everything,”
“Look here,” she begins- and soon enough, she explains everything in detail, as if it were the back of her hand. She goes through Miss Tock’s notes, and everything suddenly seems clear.
“Oh…it’s all very simple,”
“Come on, let’s get cracking,” She smiles- as she does a lot.

Before we know it, our names are called up. I stand beside the computer, directing the PowerPoint, and Yen offers to do the presentation. As she starts speaking, the whole room goes quiet- most of the guy’s mouths are hanging wide open, and the other girls are staring at jealousy. Sometimes- especially times like this, I wonder whether they are in awe at her beauty, or her intelligence.
“This medium-sized lunchbox is what I think would be best for a child to eat in. It comes in a circle shape which is unique to all other lunchboxes, and its lid has a cute feature to it. The goggle eyes on the lid are sure to capture a child’s heart. Unlike most lunchboxes- its unique selling point is the fact that it has two layers which isn’t so distinctive- but is useful to most guardians, since they won’t have trouble finding space to pack food in. The only thing it cannot store is water bottles- however, the advantage is that it won’t be so heavy to carry- or the thought of the clumsiness of the child may get it wet,”
Everybody laughed, and even Miss Tock smiled (which technically never happens). I stare at her with relief…but also with astonishment- how on earth had she managed to that all herself?!”
“Well done Yen…but Raina- you didn’t say anything. Surely you have something to say about the product?”
“Well…err-”
“-Forgive her miss, she did most of the PowerPoint, but she was too shy to present her own ideas,”
“Okay- fair enough. I think you guys would be happy to know that you both passed with an A plus grade. Well done for your hard work!”
“Yes!” Yen said, grabbing the air with her fist. She turned to look at me, and quickly did a small wink.

Happy pancake (The third pancake 2/10)

***
“Raina…Raina Park?”
I hear a voice from the back of my mind, slowly drowning out my dreams. I try and ignore it, telling myself that it’s an illusion.
“Raina!”
I jump up from my seat. Miss Tock stares at me, after waking me up from hitting her ruler hard on my table a couple of times. My ears feel like they’re splitting from the noise, but I focus harder on her stare, than her actions.
“Listen,” She demands, “No falling asleep in my lessons…do you hear?!”
“Yes,”
I rub my eyes tiredly, looking from left to right. I am in a classroom, though I don’t even remember getting there. I notice a girl, sitting on the right hand side of me. She focuses intently on the PowerPoint, making careful notes in her notebook. I try to get a proper glance of what she’s writing- but she notices, and smiles at me.
I quickly look away, hoping she’s not thinking badly of me, and take my diary out of my bag.
Instead of making notes, like everyone else, I decide to doodle drawings on the inside cover. I draw a flower, and colour it in with my blue ball point pen. I notice the same girl looking at me, as if she’s interested in what I’m doing. I look at her, as she makes eye contact.
“What you doing?” She whispers, leaning across her table. I look at her, surprised.
Was she talking to me?
I look around the room, but no one looks back at her. I point to myself, asking her whether she’s talking to me. She nods, and smiles.
“Flowers,” I tell her, and Miss Tock notices. She glares at me again, but lets it pass.
“They’re really pretty,” she says, looking at them admirably.
“Thanks,” I smile at her.
“I’m yen by the way,” She tells me.
“I’m Raina,”
“My mum’s called Raina,”
Coincidence or luck?
“Really? But the name ‘Raina’ is really rare,” I ask her, astonished.
“Yeah, pretty weird? Huh?”
“Mmm,”
I notice she’s wearing the boots I saw last week ago with Hannie. I had wanted them so much, and I resisted going home before buying it- though I never bought it in the end. They were Brown Gucci’s, and they fitted her perfectly like a sock.
“Nice boots,” I say, realising that it was a weird comment to point out.
“Thanks,” She says, looking down at them, “Got them from the shopping centre a few days ago.
“Oh I see,” I say, trying to keep the conversation flowing. Someone up there seriously hates me- and they’re using any situation they can to rub it in my face. The boots I really wanted- and now someone else has them first.
I look at her a few more times, trying to remember her face the next time I see her- but get distracted when I realise that all her clothes are branded.
She must be rich…why do all transfer students seem to be rich?
I see her mouth something to me. I look at her again, trying to figure out what she was saying.
“Let’s work together,” I hear her whisper.

Happy pancake (The third pancake 1/10)

“Raina…get down here…right now,” Hannie commands, hearing sounds of presence in her house.
I look down at her, twenty feet above the ground…she was really crazy, she must be really crazy.
“Like now, now?”
“Yes…now!” She screeches.
I climb down the branches of the tree, as fast as each second stroke. My sweaty palms made each grip seem weaker, as I tumbled down the tree, my feet going one after the other. My heart pounded loudly in my chest, making me reminisce the sound of rocks, falling down a waterfall. I knew I was in deep trouble, if I didn’t get down in time. And Hannie would be also.
“Hannie…is that you?” I heard her mum ask. Her voice was followed by the sound of rough floorboards, creaking noisily.
“She’s coming up!” I whisper, panicking.
“Hurry up, Raina!” Hannie rushes me, beckoning me to climb faster.
Finally, I’m able to grab the last branch, and jump off just in time. Hannie grabs my arm, and we head behind a series of trees, which run vertically along a pathway.
“She’s gone,” I heard Hannie say, breathing heavily. We look at each other, and burst into laughter.
“That was a close one,” I say, sweating heavily. If she made me do anything this nerve wracking, I wouldn’t go through it all again.
“You’re crazy, you know that?” I manage to say between my breaths.
“Good crazy, right?”
I laugh, resting my head against the bark of the tree, looking up at the blue clear sky.
“What you gonna do about it now?” I ask her, after regaining back the circumstances of the situation.
“I don’t know…” she sighs, rolling her head over to look at me, “What should I do, Raina?”
“Stop taekwondo…stop doing it,”
“Are you mad?! It’s my life…what would you do if you had to give up bakery?”
“I…I’m not sure either- not sure if I’d have anything to look forward to,”
“Exactly my point,”
We stop for a minute, whilst regaining our voices and our heartbeats. I breathe the air that gently brushes past our faces. Suddenly, I realise that sky’s still standing there, arms crossed, and looking at us from above.
“Let’s go,” I say, looking at him, straight in the eye.
“Go where?”
“Back home,”
“Raina..I’m standing outside my house…”
“…oh…yeah, that,” I say, looking like a complete idiot.
Well done Raina, very well done.

Quick update

Hey guyss! Ok, so this is the quick update.
I'm sorry I haven't been posting for a while. Just busy catching up with my life etc. And yeah- just been extremely busy.
So I just did a post on inspiration and then my laptop shut the window down- which really pissed me off. So now, I can't make it up to you anymore- because my post has just disappeared which really is starting to bug me.
But anyway- still just posting to say that I'm still here! Please anticipate my next few posts- I will try to make them more interesting =D.
And it's summer coming also, so I can post more about things going on in my life.
So yeah =D. Quick and short update...but ah well!
